Hundreds of tongues have probably paid homage to your beauty. A thousand souls have taken a stand and attested to your heart. Countless eyes have witnessed your mind intertwining intensely with theirs.
They all admire you for who you are. To be frank with you, I did too, captivated by your remarkable qualities.
As cliché as it may sound, the last chapter detailed how you influenced my life in a unique way, which I can only describe through the fragmented literature in my mind, what I like to call “a script of emotions.”
Allow me to reciprocate through my amateur writing skills, hoping it may impact you in some way.
Understand this concept: anyone can achieve greatness if they are willing to do so. I reference ‘Ole Gusteau’s words when Remy’s eye was glued to the television in that elderly lady’s house:
“You must be imaginative, strong-hearted. You must try things that may not work, and you must not let anyone define your limits because of where you come from. Your only limit is your soul. What I say is true — anyone can cook but only the fearless can be great.”
Besides the personality trait mentioned earlier, I’ll describe what you are as a person and your potential to become one of the greats.
Imagination goes a long way — not everyone possesses it to the extent they claim. In your case, you’re one of the few brilliant minds I’ve encountered in my quarter-life. It doesn’t come naturally, but you possess a reservoir of imagination rooted in what you consume daily — art in various forms.
When discussing your remarkable traits, I always highlight, “Ever since I met her, all I can say is that she is an avid listener and reader.” In the two forms you’re most familiar with: music and literature.
Of course, everyone consumes the same media as you do. But alongside imagination, you can digest art at the moment and distinguish two things:
1. The art as intended by the artist.
2. The art as perceived by the audience.
You can interpret these mediums into meanings and ideas as intended by their creator, breaking them down piece by piece to find the inspiration behind them all. You ask the right questions and articulate the right sentences from your experience with any of the mentioned forms, enabling you to envision the artist’s mindset.
As an audience member, you not only comprehend the art but, unlike many others, you can feel it. Whatever the experience provides you, you can intertwine the emotions through comprehension and feel it profoundly.
You shed tears until your tear ducts run dry. You laugh until you struggle to catch your breath — or you feel anger, wishing to set the universe ablaze with hatred, or perhaps you skip around joyfully like a child dancing in fields of daffodils.
This ability, as per references sent to me, can only mean one thing in my opinion: you are an artist in your own right — a highly imaginative one with an arsenal of explosive palettes ranging from A to Z. There are days I wonder why you haven’t taken the leap to create something on your own. Perhaps in due time, you will.
Let’s discuss “strong-hearted,” the second adjective Gusteau used to describe you. In a brief description, the capacity of your strength is limitless from my perspective.
In the brief time I’ve known you, your ability to endure grief is remarkable. You navigate through the rough patches like a hurricane of spaghetti. At times sloppy, but you persevere against all odds.
The finest example of all is that you are still breathing the same air as I do. Sometimes, I wonder if another person would endure the pain as you have; they wouldn’t be standing the way you are right now.
Let’s conclude with the idea of you as a she-demon, surfing through life at supersonic speed. Yes, I wrote that abstract description, and no, describing you as a “she-demon” was not intended to diminish you in any way.
You are willing to explore and try everything. Even though there are restrictions, limitations, or a ceiling above your head at times, you manage to overcome them in your desired manner. By all accounts, you encounter unexpected challenges, but you rise again and again.
How many times has life knocked you over? Many. But have you realized how many times you’ve stood up again and again? You keep surpassing life like one to nil.
You embody fearlessness, and through it, you will achieve greatness. I’m confident that whatever you pursue, you will dash forward gloriously to become something incredible.
I believe you will inspire many, as you do even at this very moment. tick tock, tick tock — you are an inspiration to this very writing.
You will tap into your full potential. As a friend, I hope to be seated in the front row, awestruck by your performance on top of the world.
